Dental Implants/Office of Dr. Reilly and Dr. Gelder

Dental implants are a great way to replace missing teeth and to provide a "Fixed Solution" to having removable or complete dentures. Implants provide excellent support and stability for these dental appliances. Dental Implants are "artificial roots" that are usually made of titanium. These implants are surgically placed into the upper or lower jawbone by an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to support a single tooth replacement. In most cases, the healing process takes three to six month at which point the titanium post integrates with the jawbone to serve as an anchor for the artificial replacement teeth or crowns.

At the office of Dr. Reilly and Dr. Gelder, we have been involved in implant surgery for over 20 years, ranging from single implant replacement to full arch stabilization. We also provide 3D imaging through Cone Beam CT scan technology and Digital Impressions (which do not require the traditional impressions with the uncomfortable and at times "gagging" impressionable material). This allows us to provide very predictable computer guided surgical placement.

We are thrilled to be able to offer the TeethXpress option to our patients as a distinct solution to give our patients the ability to eat, speak and live confidently. TeethXpress offers a unique and predictable option for patients with a failing dentition or who are edentureless with ill-fitting or loose dentures.
